The best dinner we have had in Croatia - Pet Bunara in Zadar. Amazing Croatian merlot, my lobster and fresh pappardelle, Steve and I, Steve’s filet and gnocchi, and prosek, a Croatian dessert wine.
Croatia joined the EU effective July 1, and prosek is too similar to prosecco (which is protected under EU rules) so Croatia has to rename this wine. If you’re planning to head to Croatia and you like dessert wine - track what they rename it. It’s definitely worth a try!
